My technical writing teacher told our class that her sister did that on her blog. She gets paid to put their ads on her website, and she said that she gets a pretty hefty check because her blog is so popular.
I'd consider doing it if I were you because you're trying to create your own fashion line. It'd be a good way to get money and also make your blog way more popular than it all ready is.

You know, actually I was thinking... When you get your envisage fashion line up running, create a website just for that and I can ad you to my google adsense. That'll be a great way to generate revenue and promote your line.
